Can such an "Intel" app still require Rosetta?ġc. I've heard that Quicken 2007 won't run on Lion because it needs Rosetta. Snow Leopard's Activity Monitor shows it as an "Intel" application.

I use the latest upgraded Quicken 2007 heavily. How well will Lion or above run on my Mac mini? Or, I could run them from an old MacBook maxed out at 10.6 networked to the Mac Mini's hard drive.ġa. I've decided that I can forget about Rosetta compatibility for most work if I make a bootable 10.6 CD and restart the Mac mini from it when I need to use that's those old apps. I bought this year's version of TurboTax and found that it requires OS-X 10.7.5 (Lion) or greater. I use a Mac mini running OS-X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) because I need Rosetta for two very old apps that I use frequently.
