This event is bring your own wine friendly, although bottles will be available for cash purchase at the time of the event in case anybody forgets! If you'd like to enjoy your own wine with dinner, please drop your bottle of wine off at the counter when you arrive so we can open it and let it breathe before bringing it to the table for you to enjoy during the meal! We will be sending out local wine pairing suggestions by email as we get closer to the event date.
Once all diners have arrived we will be seated at the community table in the heart of the candlelit old stone church sanctuary and enjoy a delicious, fresh meal together! The menu for this event will be served family style at the table. This gets very expensive as the demand for harry potter paper begins to rise. They start by writing on parchment, which was made from animal skin. While they are no longer using quills, they begin to write with pen and ink. Once you arrive, we invite our guests over 21 to pick up a complimentary champagne cocktail at the counter, then feel free to mix and mingle with the other diners around the shared appetizer board as we put the finishing touches on the meal! We invite you to join us at the Rooted Table for a limited seat, Harry Potter great feast community dinner on the weekend before Halloween! Feel free to come in plain clothes or wear your dress robes in keeping with the theme of the evening! We will keep the guest list at 30 or less in order to give everybody a chance to get to know each other and relax in an intimate dinner setting. The story revolves around Harry Potter, who was orphaned as a baby because of an evil wizard.
